Stained Glass Night Lights
Instruction by Aurora Colors Studio

Please join us for a one-day introduction to stained glass.

Once upon a time, Louis Comfort Tiffany studios invented the copper foil technique so they could use the stained glass remnants accumulated from building leaded win- dows. They used the foil and remnants to create Tiffany lampshades.

In this workshop you will learn this technique and make a stained glass night light to keep or give as a gift. There will be a selection of brass filigree designs by Mika Inter- national and glass colors to select when you arrive. We will give a presentation about stained glass in general as well. You will learn how to apply the copper foil and brass filigree to precut stained glass shapes, solder and finish your handmade night light. Each one will be unique and everything will be provided. Creating with stained glass is fun, therapeutic for many, and very self-satisfying. No experience required.
